In the spring of 2019, the Nazarene Medicinal Institute embraced more than 2,000 national residents and teaching fellows as part of our collective affiliates. For four years, the Nazarene Medicinal Institute has worked alongside globally recognized physicians. This collaboration has enabled numerous young doctors to realize their aspirations of becoming highly skilled, compassionate, and caring physicians equipped with indigenous knowledge. Our NMI graduates have delivered world-class care to urban, suburban, rural, and international communities globally, and we take great pride in their achievements.
The leadership, administration, and governance partnerships of the Nazarene Medicinal Institute comprise notable figures such as scientific biologist and research consultants Dr. Paul Elias Alexander, Francis Mangels, Dr. Myles Munroe, biologist Dane Wigington, biologist Geert Vanden Bossche M.D., Dr. Ilya Sandra Perlingieri, Dr. Rashid A. Buttar, FAAPM, FACAM, FAAIM, and Professor Sucharit Bhakdi, M.D.
At the helm of the Nazarene Medicinal Institute is Dr. Orion, MD, who receives guidance from Appa Iam and Yeshua Son, the deputy deans responsible for scientific and clinical affairs, education, academic and professional development, collaborative excellence, as well as finance and administration. The medical school is further supported by associate and assistant deans, alongside department chairs, who collectively manage the institution, which encompasses 394 ladder faculty members, 40 students, and 53 staff employees.
Dr Orion triumphantly moves forward the legislation concerning the Nazarene Medicinal Institute continues to progress, aiming to elevate us to the higher standards with which we were established. Additionally, we are initiating a new program for free education. We are actively searching for professors willing to teach pro bono, as their involvement may ultimately facilitate our collaboration with the government through a contract, ideally to aid in the normalization of free education.
